Participation in the design, creation and implementation of technical standards in the textile/clothing industry through participating in the Committee for Standardisation 40, of which ASINTEC is a member.

The technical standardisation committee of AENOR-AEN/CTN 40 for the textile industry is comprised of the following subcommittees and work groups:

The standardization activity is carried out by sectors, in Technical Subcommittees and Work Groups (SC and GT by their Spanish acronyms), in which all the bodies and agents involved and interested in different works take part: manufacturers, consumers and users, Administration, laboratories and research centres.

This Textile Committee, with the collaboration of the Technical Subcommittees and Work Groups is responsible for:

Drafting the UNE standards.

Monitoring the work of the Technical Commitees of CEN or ISO assigned to it, contributing votes and technical commentaries to the documents, as well as nominating the experts and national delegates that will attend the meetings of said international committees.
